I was born in Cuba and came to the United States as a child. We didn’t always have much — but we had love, resilience, and the ability to make simple moments feel special.

That stayed with me. When I became a mom, it only deepened.

I realized that the smallest things — a personalized mug, a handwritten note, a custom gift made just for someone — can turn into lifelong memories. Not because of what they cost. Because of what they say.

I looked everywhere for the kind of gifts I wanted to give. Everything was either completely generic — something you’d give anyone — or so custom it took weeks of back-and-forth just to know what you’d get.
